You guys have heard me say it over and over again: I don’t develop a new product unless I feel like it’s something that’s absolutely necessary for our skin and our line up of offerings. Well, a few years ago I felt like my skin was really craving something “more.” Read on for the inspiration for creating the Blue Tansy Cream!
I’m in my 30’s now, and while I’m all for aging gracefully, I’m also about keeping my skin dewy and youthful — the natural way. For the past 6 years, I have reached for plants to help with any and every skin concern that I’ve had. Since having a baby a few years ago, I noticed that my skin was more dull, tired, and showing fine lines. I started incorporating frankincense (a key ingredient in the formula) into my skin care routine and fell in love with how diverse and powerful it was in bringing new life to my skin. I would blend it with other ultra-moisturizing and healing ingredients, and found that this was exactly what my skin needed at this stage in life.
I started developing this product for others who also wanted to rejuvenate their aging skin. Enter the Blue Tansy Cream! I chose blue tansy for its anti-inflammatory properties and because it blends beautifully with frankincense. It has an incredible sedative nature that calms and soothes the mind. This cream sinks deep into the skin and the aromatherapy benefits continue long after it’s applied. I’m so thrilled to be able to bring this product to market and can’t wait for everyone to try it!

Key Ingredients
Frankincense: An incredibly diverse oil full of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Helps to minimize fine lines, tighten the skin, and reduce breakouts.
Blue Tansy: Powerfully soothing, anti-inflammatory, balances skin tone and has amazing calming aromatherapy benefits.
Aloe Vera: Healing, moisturizing; full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Squalane: Derived from olive oil - incredibly moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and can help protect from sun damage.
Botanical Hyaluronic Acid: An incredibly moisturizing ingredient with an ability to hold 1000x its weight water. Improves skin elasticity and helps to keep the skin dewy and hydrated.
Algae Extract: Supports moisture retention and full of vital trace elements (magnesium, zinc) and nourishing amino acids.
Geranium: Antibacterial, extremely healing.
Best Usage
Following the serum, apply a dollop all over the face and neck.
For oily skin: Use as a night cream.
For normal/combo skin: May be used both morning and night. Layer with the Cocoa Eye Butter on areas of the face that are more dry.
For dry skin: May be used both morning and night. Mix together with the Cocoa Eye Butter and/or Black Spruce Body Oil to lock in moisture.
